Founder of Dairyland Shrimp, Forbes Adam has an entrepreneurial spirit and started his first business in downtown Chicago while a student at Loyola University Chicago. When Forbes first learned about heterotrophic shrimp farming, he immediately recognized the value of fresh, local, farm-raised shrimp and embarked upon the creation of Dairyland Shrimp, LLC. A family man, Forbes envisions Dairyland Shrimp as a catalyst toward the improvement of sustainable shrimp farming and helping other families start their own shrimp farms.
After his first career as a tennis professional, Craig Schultz bought Lakeshore ScreenPrinting and Embroidery in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, over 16 years ago. He expanded that business to what today includes servicing clients worldwide through a variety of mediums including custom-decorated apparel and flatgoods, media print, ad-specialty promotional products, online stores, website design and hosting, and all types of signage, banners, and vinyl graphics. He believes that Dairyland Shrimp is at the forefront of sustainable shrimp farming and is very excited to bring his business knowledge and experience to this great endeavor.
Shelly joined our team in January of 2015, at first taking part in water quality data management, but we quickly learned her attention to detail makes her the perfect addition to our team. Daily water testing, quality control, data recording, and analysis are important factors in shrimp health and Shelly’s development of spreadsheets and data collection plays a key role in our production. In her short time on our team, she has also taken over the role of feed management.
